A damned Soul left squirming
Subconsciously wanderings in the
Infinite abyss of dark wisdom, eternally
seeking a new hope, a new dawn

A purpose for this wicked existence...
An oath to be taken and fulfilled,
An old master to be pleased,
A new slave to be tamed.

A subtle lesson left to learn
To fill the growing emptiness...
With divine intervention, the Soul rejuvenates
Into human flesh and blood,

With a strong sense of need
A need to belong, a need to be restricted,
A need to overthrow and a need to be loved...
The journey goes on, promises fulfilled in due course

But the need grows without knowing bounds,
Dreams turn into reality, and reality into dreams
Drenched in the monotony, the soul still seeks
An answer in the dried up pool of humanity...

Then to an end comes the tiring journey
The Soul swells in rage and fury,
In desperation for an answer...

In the fury,the flesh, it wore burns,
a slave which the Soul has just tamed...

At the moment of transition, realization dawns
The journey was The reason, The purpose, the soul now knows...
The subtle lesson is now learnt and the old master stands impressed...
